Film London Lodestars honours the bright futures of innovative filmmakers, creatives and craftspeople from across the capital each year.

With lodestars known for their inspiration and guidance, this list celebrates talent who shine with outstanding creativity or craftsmanship, who are tipped to go on to ever greater works in coming years.

Our Lodestars are selected each year from hundreds of people spanning the varied initiatives of Film London and Games London, including filmmakers, heads of department, craftspeople, performers, programmers, exhibitors, archivists and games creators who have worked with the capital’s screen agency over the previous three years.

This year, we couldn’t have our usual party to celebrate our Lodestars showcase, so we’ve created a video about each Lodestar so you can get to know them a little. You can see all our 2021 Film London Lodestars below!
