Film London Connect’s mentoring programme pairs emerging screen talent with experienced industry mentors to help them develop their careers, strengthen their creative voice, and build practical industry knowledge. Through regular one-to-one sessions, workshops, and tailored guidance, participants gain insights into the business and craft of film and TV, expand their professional networks, and receive support in navigating their next steps in the screen industries.

Since we started the programme in January 2024 we've connected and supported 200 young people, matching them with our incredible volunteer mentors working in the roles the mentees aspire to have. As as result of this partnership our mentees report increased confidence levels, networking abilities and a much better understanding of the pathways into and through the screen industries.
