Now in its fifth year, FLAMIN Animations commissions four new artists, ranging across mixed-media approaches that combine textiles, live-action and CGI, and innovative engagements with stop-motion and 2D animation. Projects in development include a film that responds to the migration journey of West African families to a rural town in Kent, a psychoanalytical investigation of female friendship, and a process-driven experimental animation working with traditional Chinese arts and crafts.
