Jasmine Hewitt
Jasmine Hewitt is a 2D animator and comic artist based in London. Her work is characterised by an interest in the void – atmospheres defined by mystery, unease and solitude. In her practice, abstract imagery comes together with dynamic storytelling to explore visual and psychological darkness, delving into the elements of the subconscious mind that shape our lives.
A participant in 2024 Sky Landscape Artist of the Year, Jasmine's work has been shown at ST. Art Gallery (London), Manchester Film Festival, Primanima Festival (Budaörs, Hungary), BFI Southbank, Flat World Animation Show (London), Animation Volda (Norway), Mic Hueyo (Hueyotlipan, Mexico), and Guttercast (Online).
