Brandon Saunders
Brandon Saunders employs a mixed-media approach to animation, with each technique carrying a deliberate thematic intent in his narrative works. In his CGI-built worlds, there are characters which are 2D animated, hand-painted, or made from physically scanned fabrics (inspired by West African fabric-making traditions).
Brandon's work Blouse and Skirt was acquired by Mansfield College, University of Oxford as part of the Mansfield-Ruddock Art Prize 2024. He has contributed animation to collaborative projects with artists including Divine Southgate-Smith, Tayo Rapoport and Rohan Ayinde.
