Equal Access Network Initiatives

The scheme has now closed for applications but sign up to receive our mailouts to hear when it will be open again.

After launching the Production and Development Work Taster scheme back in 2018, Film London and Two Brothers Pictures have provided work placements to new entrants from underrepresented groups keen to experience the ins and outs of working in an established production company.

During the 5-day placement, interns gain first-hand experience in both TV production and development. The programme guides interns through work on production tasks, as well as engaging them in the development process from submissions, generals, agent meetings and finalising slates.

Prior to the placement, interns also take part in a week-long training course ran by the EAN focusing on; an introduction to the industry, freelancer finances, set etiquette and employability within the film/tv industry.

The scheme is aimed at new entrants from underrepresented groups who are interested in a career in TV and serves as a ‘taster’ of what it is like to work in-house in an established production company, in either production or development. It is not suited to people who want on-set experience.
