Now in its sixth year, FLAMIN Animations has commissioned four new artists whose work ranges across traditional 2D animation, shadow puppetry, 3D and digital techniques and analogue film. Projects in development include a film that explores youth, queer sexuality and heartbreak, the legacy of colonialism and slavery in Caribbean ghost stories, an animated documentary about toxic smog in Delhi, and an exploration of the role of repetition, memory and transformation across animation and language learning.
