Hannah Wu
Hannah Wu is an artist and animator from London. Her work explores the cross-cultural possibilities of animation, investigating ideas around language and identity through tactile analogue processes. She is drawn to materials like ink that resist control, inviting experimentation and imperfection, whilst engaging with East Asian art traditions.
She holds an MA in Animation from the Royal College of Art. Her graduate film 走 (zǒu) has screened at festivals including Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film, Anibar International Animation Festival and Tricky Women / Tricky Realities. In March 2026, she was awarded an artist residency at MuseumsQuartier, Vienna.
