What will be in the study for me?
The table below shows you which data each stakeholder group will be asked for.
Not every category will be relevant to your organisation but you will still face these sections in the form - that’s fine, please just say ‘no’ to skip those sections.

Vehicle fleets
We are looking to understand your London operations fleet only - not personal staff vehicle use, such as company cars.
These operational vehicles can be any road vehicle, including cargo bikes, cars, vans and trucks.
The study offers two ways of uploading your data:
Use our template (download here). This table highlights the specific data we need and it requires manual entry.
Upload your own report. (file type must be: .csv, .xlsx, or Google Sheets) This will be easier for larger or managed fleets but please include all the data points we are collecting.
Vehicle usage
If you monitor your vehicles with telematics or similar software, we are looking to access a sample of this data.
For each vehicle, we are looking for:
Daily mileage (miles or km)
Daily run or down time (hours or minutes)
Sample period: an "average" workload period between 30 and 365 days between 1 January 2022 and 30 April 2023.
File type: .csv; .xlsx
Here is an example from telematics of what we are looking for.
Mobile power (generator) fleets
We are looking to understand mobile power units in use in London. We are not including electricity supply gained from plugging into the grid.
These power units can include free-standing or vehicle-mounted and any fuel, including battery and hydrogen fuel cell solutions.
The study offers two ways of uploading your data:
1. Use our template (download here). This table highlights the specific data we need but it requires manual entry.
2. Upload your own report (file type must be: .csv, .xlsx, or Google Sheets). This may be easier for larger generator fleets but please include all the data points we are collecting.
Mobile power (generator) usage

For each unit, we are looking for:
Daily usage (litres consumed and/ or kWh generated)
Daily run or down time (hours or minutes)
If possible: hourly usage, load etc.
Sample period: an "average" workload period between 30 and 365 days between 1 January 2022 and 30 April 2023.
File type: .csv; .xlsx
