Natasha Thembiso Ruwona is a Scottish-Zimbabwean artist, researcher, and curator-programmer-producer. She is interested in spatial practice and Afrofuturism as methods of thinking about place across time. Through her investigations, she is also seeking to understand how healing and improved well-being are impacted when we explore our relationships with our environment.
Recent projects include a film commission for Resisting Toxic Climates: Gender, Colonialism, and Environment, a conference by The British Academy and The University of Edinburgh, a written response for Scotland + Venice, and a film project as part of her residency with Alchemy Film & Arts.
