A nonverbal autistic teenager and her sister come to terms with the death of their youngest sibling.

Our Sister marks a considerable tonal shift for Westhoff’s work. She’s now working with formidable Producer Fiona Hardingham from Adapted Pictures, and having previously centred on stories which walk the line between comedy and drama this is her first straight drama.

Richard Maguire, The Reviews Hub

Taking place in the aftermath of a bereavement, we follow Tasha a teenage girl with autism and her sister Zoe as they try to navigate a world which has significantly changed for them

Directors Notes (see link)

Heart-breaking and yet hopeful Rosie Westhoff’s film is one of the best of the night with strong performances by the two leads and a moving original score by Matthew Robert Cooper
