Dissident Sunset, a large scale single screen work that depicts a claustrophobic tableaux vivant, in which the relics of a political past are caught inside an endless performance set in the exaggerated debris of a collapsing apartment.

Engaging with social rituals and radical actions, archive images are re-staged for camera in a playful, choreographed assemblage. With no narrative as such these images become embedded to form a series of events. Entombed within a giant cardboard set, a group of sham anarchists clumsily and self consciously perform for each other into ritualistic carnivalesque and a deterioration of social norms.
