Michael Landy’s project Acts of Kindness is a celebration of compassion and generosity on the Tube, inviting us to notice acts of kindness however simple and small. For the project, Landy invited customers to submit their stories, which are published online. Many of the stories were installed as artworks by Landy on the Central line, in both stations and trains, commissioned by Art on the Underground in 2011.
As part of the project, Landy was commissioned by FLAMIN to develop a series of three short animated films for Channel 4's Random Acts. Watch all three films below:
