Ollie Dook
Ollie Dook received his MA from the Royal College of Art in London in 2017 specialising in sculpture and moving image. Dook’s work explores our relationship to images through an idiosyncratic reimagining of cultural artefacts, which questions how our contemporary experience of the world is defined by the media we view it through. Historical narratives, viral videos and cultural phenomena are edited and collaged using CGI, sound design and physical installations.
Dook’s work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally at various venues including Jupiter Artland, Edinburgh; Humber Street Gallery, Hull; Fold, London; Hannah Barry Gallery, London; NADA, Miami with Daata Editions and Zabludowicz Collection, London.
