Tibo Travers is a film producer whose fifteen short films have received two BAFTA long-lists, festival awards and selections including Palm Springs, Chicago International and BFI London Film Festival. These shorts include Leave to Remain, Remy Bazerque’s comedy capturing the sheer frustration of would-be Brits waiting endlessly for their right to stay in this country they call home. Tibo attended the Film London Production Finance Market New Talent strand in 2020 with sci-fi coming of age feature Out There, a project that was hugely popular with our attending financiers. The project has garnered support from Ffilm Cymru Wales, the BFI, Arts Council England and TIFF.
Tibo is also developing an ITV-commissioned sitcom, Sexploration, and he has been Drama Producer on documentary features/series including The Puppermaster for Netflix, Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In for Amazon, and BAFTA-nominated The Rescue for National Geographic. A visiting lecturer in Film Production at Royal Holloway University of London, Tibo also created and runs Stage 21, an Arts Council and BAFTA-supported series of acting workshops for young actors with Downs Syndrome.
