WHAT WE SAY
Jonell secured an AD/Locations/Production Trainee position on ITV’s The Larkins via the Equal Access Network. We are so proud of Jonell, we shared him with Nahrein Kemp at ITV and he is now working full-time with ITV as a production runner.
BIO
Jonell Rowe is a London based writer, director, AD and co-founder of Lionstooth Films Ltd. His style of work focuses on emotions spiralling out of control and how this affects a person’s world around them. Jonell has written and directed short films that have won awards such as Best Narrative Short Film at the Hollywood Sun film awards. Jonell graduated with a 1st degree diploma, after studying BA Film and Television at the University of Bristol. After the Covid-19 pandemic, Jonell successfully transitioned over to HETV and worked as both an Assistant Director and Crowd AD for comedy scripted dramas such as the third season of Bridgerton and the third season of Trying. Jonell recently worked as a 1st AD for BAFTA- nominated short film The Ballad of Olive Morris (2023). He is currently employed by ITV and is also working as a line running coach for Sir Lenny Henry.
