Film London welcomes Lauren Preteceille to the organisation as the new Head of Communications & Public Affairs.

Reporting to CEO and the Board, Lauren will be responsible for overseeing Film London and the British Film Commission's communications, public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies, alongside partnerships and events. This includes working closely with our screen industry partners to develop the sector’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the plan and communications strategy around its recovery.

Before joining Film London, Lauren worked in public affairs at Transport for London (TfL) for 11 years, most recently as Head of Stakeholder Advocacy and Engagement, developing the organisation’s strategic stakeholder strategy and overseeing relationships with key representative groups such as business, disability organisations, youth & schools engagement and equality groups. Prior to TfL, Lauren worked in media relations for London First.

Lauren replaces Anna Highet, who leaves this month to focus on freelance projects.
