Spring has sprung and we're back with our monthly rundown of what's filming in London, as well as everywhere you can find the capital on screen.

Bridgerton is returning to shoot its fifth series, this time led by Hannah Dodd and Masali Baduza as Lady Francesca Stirling and Michaela Stirling. The new series of the smash hit period drama will follow the romance between Michaela and the widowed Lady Francesca.
The fourth season of The Diplomat begins filming in London this month. The thriller has filmed in a host of exciting London locations across its three seasons, including St Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and the US Embassy. The Diplomat finds Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) navigating complex diplomatic relations with key figures from all over the world.
Other notable productions currently filming on location and/or in studio include:
- Unforgotten Series 7 is now in production for ITV. The returning cold-case drama sees Sunny and Jess drawn into a new investigation that begins with a chilling discovery in Ladbroke Grove, opening up a case that reaches back into the past and out across the city, with London continuing to act not just as a backdrop, but as a living map of history, community and consequence.
- Slow Horses Season 7 – Series Seven has been spotted filming at a host of familiar sites: Aldersgate Street, home of the ever-chaotic Slough House; the Brutalist beauty of the Barbican Estate; and the atmospheric Bunhill Fields Burial Ground. Crews have additionally been working across Regent’s Park and Regent’s Canal, as well as Southwark, Lambeth, and Islington’s Caledonian Estate.
- Supacell Season 2 – Creator Rapman promising a darker, more expansive chapter, the new season dives deeper into the origins of the characters’ powers and the shadowy forces pursuing them. From Peckham to Croydon, the series continues to ground its superpowered storytelling in the real streets of the city.
- Harry Potter - HBO TV adaptation of JK Rowling’s boy-wizard series.
- Untitled Luther sequel - Thriller following the return of John Luther
- The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event - Films based on the lives and careers of The Beatles, starring Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson, Joseph Quinn and Barry Keoghan as the Fab Four.
London has a strong presence on-screen across April, here are just a few examples of where you can see its iconic locations this month:
Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo return to star in the second series of Criminal Record, launching on Apple TV on 22 April. A powerful, character-driven police drama set in the heart of modern London. The production was mainly based around the Wharf Studios in East London.
Riz Ahmed comedy Bait recently launched on Amazon Prime. A comedy about Shah Latif, a struggling actor, whose last chance of stardom comes in the form of an audition of a lifetime. Central London appears heavily throughout the series.
Fuze comes to UK cinemas from 3 April. Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Theo James, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Sam Worthington, the film focus on when An unexploded WWII bomb is discovered on a busy construction site in the centre of London. The film shot in London locations such as Notting Hill and Edgware Road,
