Jack King

Jack is a writer and director who started out making music videos, independent and funded shorts, many of which have played internationally at top tier festivals. His last short Predators premiered at BFI London Film Festival, and was nominated for best British short by the London Critics Circle in 2024. Jack's independent debut feature The Ceremony world premiered at the 77th Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2024, where it won the inaugural Sean Connery Prize for excellence in feature film making.

Cecile Embleton

Cécile is a British-French documentary director. Mother Vera is her first documentary feature film which is supported by Sundance, winner of Locarno First Look 2023 and second place winner at the Hotdocs Forum 2021. The film premiered in competition at Vision du Réel and had it's UK premiere in the Documentary Grierson competition at the London Film festival in 2024. Her directorial debut, The Watchmaker, screened at Hot Docs, Dok Leipzig and SXSW and won the Grand Jury Prize at Boston International Film Festival.



Savvas Stavrou

Savvas Stavrou is a writer/director alumni of the Sundance Lab, Berlinale Talents and BFI NETWORK @ LFF. His short films and music videos have screened and won awards internationally at festivals and presented online on platforms such as NOWNESS. His latest short film Buffer Zone, a musical about the unlikely connection between two soldiers across enemy lines, was funded by the BFI and Cyprus Cinema and premiered at Clermont-Ferrand 2023. He is currently developing a slate of three feature films including The Ones Left Behind, which was one of eight projects selected to participate at the Sundance Mediterranean Screenwriters Lab in 2018, and Love Song to Lavender Menace, funded by Screen Scotland. He is due to shoot his next short film When the Music Stopped, funded by the Greek Film Centre.
