Deriving from the Parallel Cinema movement, established as an Indian alternative cinema that depicted the socio-realities of the 70s and 80s, Majlis Film Club questions how Aakrosh resonates with today's world and exposes the entrenched corruption and complicity within our society's most powerful institutions.
