Join Barbican Cinema for a special screening of Dakan. The romance between two men is threatened by family intervention in, but their love for each other is not so easily extinguished. Mohamed Camara’s ground-breaking drama from Guinea, is hailed as the first West African film to depict homosexuality. The film will be introduced by Tara Brown. The film is screening as part of the Barbican's Queer 90s Pride Month season throughout June 2023.
