Join Cold Islanders for a special screening of the iconic 70’s movie, The Harder They Come. Described as possibly the most influential of Jamaican films and one of the most important films from the Caribbean. Directed by Perry Henzell and starring Jimmy Cliff, Janet Bartley and Carl Bradshaw. Reggae legend Jimmy Cliff plays a young, Kingston musician whose attempt to lift himself out of poverty leads to meddling with drug dealing and murder. Following the screening there will be card games, dominoes and a chance to meet with other film enthusiasts.
