Welcome to BFI NETWORK Shorts School!

For this edition, we’ll be focusing on producing—offering practical insights for short film producers who are developing a project or already in production, while also demystifying the producing process for all filmmakers.

Over the week, participants will hear from experienced producers with a strong track record in short-form filmmaking, including those whose projects have been supported by the BFI NETWORK Short Film Fund and beyond. Sessions will explore the key skills and challenges of producing, from finding the right collaborators and projects, managing financing and production, to navigating the industry as a producer.

Although this is primarily focusing on producing, this is open to producers and filmmakers!

Our guest speakers include;

  • Jessica Palmarozza, Producer, Flumeri Films (Hard to Reach)
  • Danielle Goff, Producer, Lunar Pictures (The Launch)
  • Precious Mahaga, Freelance Producer (Cameraman)
  • Sam Hudson Brown, Associate Manager, 42

Additional speaker to be announced.

23rd - 26th February 2026, from 1pm (timings may be subject to change).

FREE TO ATTEND! (all session will take place on Zoom)

Accessibility requirements - all Zoom sessions and recordings will have closed captions enabled. If there are any requirements you would like to discuss, please get in touch to see how best we can assist you.
