Welcome to BFI NETWORK Shorts School!

A free online series of talks for emerging directors, writers and producers working towards a short form project and those interested in applying to the next round of the Short Film Fund.

For the first time we will also be taking about the Early Development Fund. This supports writers in the very early stage of their development process, before having a script, to produce an initial treatment and related materials for a feature film idea (live action, immersive and animation fiction projects). We'll be featuring a case study on an EDF funded project, exploring how they crafted their full treatment and our Talent Executives will explain more on the fund itself.
