Welcome to BFI NETWORK Shorts School! A four day Lab dedicated to short filmmaking.
Over the course of the week, Shorts School participants will hear insights from BFI NETWORK-funded filmmakers and meet other creatives. Whether you’re working towards your first short or sixth, Shorts School is for emerging writers, directors & producers to explore case studies, creative process, navigating the industry with your short work.
There will be Q&A’s, roundtables, the chance to view short work that’s come through the Short Film Fund, as well as a networking session to meet peers and potential collaborators.
Guest speakers include:
- Ntando Brown, writer & director (My Brudda)
- Suga Sappiah, writer & director (Ratthum)
- Timi Akindele-Ajani, writer & director (Guests, Tony)
NB: We recommend attending all sessions where possible, sessions will be recorded for those who sign up. Programme itinerary will be sent nearer the time.
