Join Barbican Cinema for a special screening of Babylon. A seminal film which captured the changing sounds and youth culture of South London told through the experience of second generation of Caribbean migrants. Babylon is both celebratory and cautionary, reflecting the excitement and vigour of the vibrant Soundsystem scene. Introducing the screening, DJ Spoony and special guests are spinning classic reggae, while after the film a panel with Brinsley Forde, Trevor Laird, Brian Bovell, Dennis Bovell and Beverley Michaels.
