Raza Tariq (b. 2002) is an artist and filmmaker from London. His work explores transcultural ideas around the unseen and mysticism. He is the 2026 Artist-in-Residence at arebyte Digital Art Centre, a writer for DAZED MENA and one of the V&A East Museum’s Inaugurating Makers. He was recently commissioned for Whitechapel Gallery’s ‘Backyard Biennial’. His debut feature is in development with Sam Hudson Brown (42mp) and Sid Gupta (Lionsgate UK). He recently signed a two-book deal with Becoming Press (prev. Exocapitalism, 2025), on Islamic Philosophy and Technics. Recent exhibitions, screenings and performances include Meadow, Minor Attractions, Fishtank Workshop & Gallery, REFERENCE-POINT.180, Bomb Factory Foundation, arebyte Digital Art Centre, Rally Festival, Azahara International Permaculture Farm, Everyman on the Canal, Tufan Radio, Soho House Festival, American Film Institute, and London Short Film Festival.
