Shaheen Schleifer is a post-production supervisor. She started in the industry as a runner/PA and has worked across development, production and post-production. As a member of the Film London Equal Access Network Return to Work scheme, she was hired by her mentor, producer Gisela Evert, as post-production coordinator. She thrived in both that setting and in subsequent roles of increasing complexity, and has recently made the move into post supervision on the award-winning documentary Hostile, directed by Sonita Gale.
Shaheen is now post supervising the second season of the HETV series Gangs of London as part of the Screenskills Make A Move programme.
She has coordinated post-production of features and HETV series for FOX, Disney, MGM, Apple, Focus Features, AGC, NBC-Universal, STARZ, Sky, AMC, BFI, Embankment and STX.
Shaheen takes time out of her busy schedule to mentor newcomers from diverse and under-represented groups and is dedicated to this endeavour.
