Martha Hood is a London-based Producer and Development Executive. Her passion lies in finding bold projects from distinctive voices and her short films have played in festivals across the UK and Europe. Martha produced Canvas 5, a razor-sharp horror about how art forces us to look at the parts of ourselves that scare us, written/directed by Karla Crome. It premiered at London Film Festival 2021 as part of LFF for Free.
Martha is an in-house Development Executive at Blueprint Pictures (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, Emma, Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) working across the film slate (including Andrew Haigh’s next film). She previously worked for Altitude Media Group on the development of ITV’s The Ipcress File adaptation, and as a producer’s assistant on On Chesil Beach and Colette for Number 9 Films. She continues to develop a slate of short films.
