WHAT WE SAY

Gina attended the PFM New Talent Strand in 2022 with crime comedy Go Away! It has been a pleasure getting to know her and we were very impressed by her through our training process and at the market. As well as developing her slate of features through production company Rude Guests, she has also just produced Dreaming Whilst Black for BBC3 and A24, working with Film London alumnus and 2022 Lodestar Adjani Salmon. We feel very proud to have supported someone who is clearly a rising star at such a key moment in her career.

BIO

Gina Lyons is an award-winning comedy producer who produced the pilot for In My Skin, which won a BAFTA Cymru award, and Dreaming Whilst Black, which was nominated for an International Emmy, and is currently producing a 10-part comedy series for CBS/Amazon Freevee. Gina has a small label called Gobby Girl Productions with a slate of shows from mostly unrepresented writers. In 2022 she was announced as one of the first cohort of BAFTA Elevate producers.

Gina has produced several short films which were selected to play at film festivals including Encounters, Rhode Island and Raindance. Currently in development with a comedy feature film with Rude Guests (written and directed by Ed Kear and Cringo Williamson), which has an Oscar-winning actor attached.

A working class girl who had lunch vouchers at school, Gina is passionate about working with story tellers from diverse backgrounds.
