WHAT WE SAY
Gilly is working on a very ambitious FLAMIN Production, Stim Cinema, which will be premiering at Nottingham Castle in November, then moving to galleries across the country. We see the world through the lens of a group of neuro divergent artists, who have been working with the director from concept to completion and exhibition.
Gilly is responsible for all exhibition relationships. The job involves liaising with galleries and being instrumental with negotiating finance for this area. She oversees production deadlines to ensure timely installation of work. Curators who work with artists on gallery exhibitions are an absolutely essential member of the filmmaking team, and raise additional finance for this part of the process.
We are impressed by the rigour, consistency and creative energy Gilly brings to the project and her tremendous support for the director, Steven Eastwood, in what is a very complex production.
