Summer is coming to a close but there's no need to despair, as we're back with all the exciting news of what's filming in the capital this month, along with where you can see London on screen throughout September.

There's a stuffed selection box of London-shot productions landing on both the big and small screens in September.

The sixth series of ever-popular Apple TV spy drama Slow Horses lands on streaming on 16 September. There's much intrigue afoot this season, as the trailer revealed that fan-favourite Olivia Cooke returns as Sid Baker.

Guy Ritchie's The Gentleman is back on Netflix for its second series now. The series shot across London, in locations such as The Reform Club on Pall Mall and Billingsgate Market.

Sticking with gangs and guns, the Tom Hardy-starring MobLand returns this month for its second series on Paramount+. The production filmed in London locations such as Chalk Farm.

On the silver screen, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return to witchy ways in Practical Magic 2, almost thirty years after the first film. New cast members joining this time include Joey King and Maisie Williams. Multiple London locations were used in the production, including Southwark and Sutton.

A new Austen adaptation hits cinemas at the end of September in the Daisy Edgar-Jones starring Sense and Sensibility. The 18th-century manor Rainham Hall in London was used as Mrs Jennings’ House.

Undeterred by the post-Summer downpours, film industry boots are very firmly on the ground across London this month.

The second season of acclaimed Apple TV crime drama Down Cemetery Road films across London this month, with locations including Clapham. The series stars national treasures Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson, and is adapted from a novel by Slow Horses writer Mick Heron (more on that show below...)

Under production at Sky Studios Elstree is new drama Charmer. Starring Anthony Boyle, Charmer follows a group of Londoners whose lives are turned upside down by Ryan (Boyle), a seducer employed to test the fidelity of his wealthy clients’ partners.

The fifth season of the ever-popular Netflix period drama Bridgerton continues to film throughout London locations such as Greenwich.
