Spooky season is here and we're back with our monthly rundown of where you can find the capital on screen this October, as well as which new productions are hard at work across London over the next 31 days.

The latest entry from DC Studios Clayface hits UK cinemas in October. Apt for Halloween, the film follows a rising movie star whose body is transformed into clay after taking part in a risky experiment. The film completed stage work in Leavesden.

Also filmed in London, In The Shadows launches in UK cinemas this month. Jasmine Jobson leads an ensemble cast in bringing the inspirational story of champion East End boxer Ramla Ali to life.

On the small (but no less mighty) screen, Vision Quest lands on Disney+ on 14 October. The long-awaited sequel to the MCU breakout hit Wandavision, the production filmed on stages across London.

Legal drama War premiered this week on Sky Atlantic, with the first season focusing on two prestigious law firms in London. The production mainly filmed in locations across London including Smith Square Hall and the Southbank.

David Harewood stars in Pierre this month, which filmed across West London.

Charmer continues production this month at Sky Studios Elstree. Starring Anthony Boyle, Charmer follows a group of Londoners whose lives are turned upside down by Ryan (Boyle), a seducer employed to test the fidelity of his wealthy clients’ partners.

Ahead of the debut of the first season in December, HBO's Harry Potter is filming its second series in London this month - this time focused on The Chamber of Secrets.
