Tune in to what’s shooting in and around London this month. From favourite comedies returning, to spotlighting dark new thrillers, the city is certainly buzzing with production!
The Greyhounds are back on the pitch as Ted Lasso Season 4 kicks off filming in Richmond. Jason Sudeikis returns as the endlessly optimistic American coach steering a struggling British football club, with Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift also reprising their roles. Richmond once again plays home turf, with Richmond Green sporting a feature, and matches are set in Hayes & Yeading United Football Club and Crystal Palace for the team’s ground.
Meanwhile dark secrets stir beneath the surface of a quiet English town in ITV’s upcoming thriller, The Blame. Based on Charlotte Langley’s 2023 novel, the series follows DI Emma Crane (Michelle Keegan) and DI Tom Radley (Douglas Booth) as they’re called to Wakestead after the body of teenage figure skater Sophie Madsen is discovered. What begins as a tragedy quickly unravels into something far darker; a tangled web of lies, institutional cover-ups, and moral compromise. As Crane digs deeper, loyalties fracture and danger closes in. Filming is underway in London, doubling as the fictional town of Wakestead.
