We’re back with the lowdown on what’s filming and screening in London this month! The capital continues to host an exciting range of film and TV productions, including Legends and Bridgerton Season 4, to name a few. It’s action stations as filming for The Runner starring Gal Gadot begins in London, straight from Amazon MGM Studios. Kevin Macdonald will be directing this vigorous thriller, following a script by Mark Gibson. This suspense-packed story follows a high-powered attorney as she races through London to save her abducted son, following cryptic commands from a mysterious caller. It sounds like this one will have us on the edge of our seats…

Netflix are back in London filming their second season of The Gentlemen, following Guy Ritchie’s successful hit of crime and comedy last year. In this stylish and thrilling crime caper, stars Theo James and Kaya Scodelario will face new challenges as they navigate the complex world of organised crime. Get ready for another round of dark humour, high-stakes drama and a ride down the unpredictable but ever-entertaining underworld of British aristocracy.

Other notable productions currently filming on location and/or in studio include:

Legends – An investigatory true-crime drama for Netflix, starring Steve Coogan and following one of the most daring criminal investigations of British History.

Secret Service – A new action drama set for ITV that follows MI6 Officer Kate Henderson who secretly leads Russian intelligence and surveillance for the British Government.

The Lady – Return to the heart of British aristocracy in this true-life crime drama for ITV, telling the story of former royal dresser Jane Andrews; convicted of murdering her fiancé.

Trigger Point Season 3 – Jed Mercurio’s high-octane drama returns to ITV with Vicky McClure as Washington’s EXPO squad tackle a string of mysterious bomb threats.

Criminal Record Season 2 – A crime drama for Apple TV+, following two senior detectives (Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo) as they come head to head on a violent and tense murder case.

Bridgerton Season 4 – Duo of Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridegerton) and Yerin Ha (Sophie Beck) step into the spotlight for a new season of the hit period romance drama for Netflix.

Untitled Jack Ryan film – An action thriller, positioned as a spinoff from the Amazon series, will continue to film in London with a base at West London’s Story Works Studios.

House of the Dragon Season 3 – The Game of Thrones prequel has returned to Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, for another season of high-end fantasy drama.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow – A DC Universe superhero adventure, starring Milly Alcock and focussing on the origins of a fan-favourite superhero, will continue filming at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.

Avengers Doomsday – A Marvel superhero movie, with the returning icon Robert Downey Jr, will continue to film in the Greater London area.

Masters of the Universe – A new live-action version of the 80s cartoon, starring Idris Elba, Alison Brie and Jared Leto will also continue to film in London.
