Kicking off our list this month is Curfew, a new Paramount+ drama now filming in London! The new six-part series is set in a fictionalised world where all men live under 'The Women's Safety Act', banning them from leaving their homes after dark whilst tracking their movements 24 hours a day. At the centre of the thriller series is senior police officer Pamela Green who shockingly discovers that a woman has been murdered during the curfew hours. Determined to prove that a man is to blame for the crime, her search for answers risks bringing the entire Safety Act down as she fights the establishment to discover the truth. The new show stars Sarah Parish as Pamela, with Mitchell Robertson, Mandip Gill and Alexandra Burke co-starring.

Up next is Season 5 of hit espionage series Slow Horses! Filming is underway in London on another season following your favourite MI5 spy-rejects. Led by the indomitable Gary Oldman, the ensemble cast of Kristin-Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan and Jonathan Pryce, have consistently provided gripping performances on the show. Previous seasons of Slow Horses feature a plethora of iconic filming locations in areas throughout London including Blackfriars Road, Caledonian Estate in Islington, Moorgate, Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, Soho, Waterloo Road, Walthamstow, the Regent's Canal, St. Michael's Church in Cornhill and many more. The show has also utilised some of London's world class film studios such as 3 Mills Studios and Enfield Studios.

We're also excited to return to the world of private detective Cormoran Strike very soon! Strike, played by Tom burke, is a former soldier turned PI, who works London's secret crimes with his partner Robin Ellacott (Holliday Grainger). Strike: The Ink Black Heart, the sixth series in the television franchise, is now filming in London and we're looking forward to seeing London on screen again in this gripping BBC crime drama. The Strike series are adapted from the novels written by J.K. Rowling under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

Previous seasons have shot on location in London. Scenes outside Strike's fictional offices on Denmark Street were actually shot on the busy Soho street. Other locations in the area include a pub in Fitzrovia, Rutland Gate in Kensington, Talgarth Road in West London, the Piccadilly Arcade and much more.

Finally, The Franchise, an exciting new satirical series about superhero films has entered production in London. The comedy comes from legendary UK filmmakers Sam Mendes and Armando Iannucci and has been ordered by HBO after a succesful pilot was produced. The witty new series will explore the frustrations and artistic cynicism behind making a superhero film franchise. Featured actors include Himesh Patel, Aya Cash, Richard E. Grant and Daniel Brühl.
