An Amy Winehouse biopic has started filming in London! Find out which other new film and TV productions are filming in the capital this month, including new shows from Netflix and HBO. Back to Black is a new Amy Winehouse biopic featuring rising star Marisa Abela in the lead role and Jack O'Connell as Blake Fielder-Civil. Abela, previously seen in London-filmed TV series Cobra, has been filming scenes throughout London this past month with co-star Eddie Marsen (The Gentlemen, 2019) who plays the music legend's father, Mitch Winehouse. Amy Winehouse's story has been etched into London's history since she rose to fame in the early 2000s and tragically passed away in 2011. Expect more scenes from Back to Black to be filmed on location throughout the capital and in Amy's hometown of Camden.
One Day, a Netflix adaptation of David Nicholl's classic novel has filmed in London this past month. The new show starring Ambika Mod as Emma Morle and Leo Woodall as Dexter Mayhew, returned to film scenes in North London after filming in the capital, as well as in Edinburgh, throughout 2022. On-location filming in Highbury & Islington and the West End tells us that this is going to be an exciting London-based story with a fresh and up-and-coming cast that you won't want to miss!
Starstuck is back for a third season filming in London this month! Having filmed previous seasons in Hackney, the BBC Three and HBO Max show sees Rose Matafeo's Jessie persist in her rocky relationship with Nikesh Patel's Tom Kapoor. We can't wait to see what London locations the critically-acclaimed show will film at next!
Finally, an exciting new film from Star Wars and Sometimes I Think About Dying star Daisy Ridley is also in the works in London this month. Magpie has started filming in the capital and comes from Ridley and her husband Tom Bateman's original script. The film is said to centre around the experiences of a couple in the film industry when the husband and father falls in love with an actress on set of their daughter's new production, putting their relationship in serious jeopardy.

Magic Mike's Last Dance starring Channing Tatum and Salma Hayek is out in London cinemas on February 10! The third instalment in the series sees Mike Lane return to the stage once again as he leaves the sunshine state of Florida for the glamour of London. The new film shot at many glittering locations in the capital fit for Mike Lane's last dance. Including central London restaurant Amazonico and the Fortnum's Bar at the Royal Exchange. Loads of iconic central London locations also feature such as Tower Bridge, Battersea Park and Piccadilly Circus. Head to this cinemas this month to see more of London (and Mike Lane) on the big screen!
Also on the silver screen this month is The Son by Florian Zeller. Anthony Hopkins returns to work with Zeller on the film after the success of 2020's The Father which filmed at West London Film Studios and in London's Maida Vale. The Son filmed at studios in London before premiering at last year's BFI London Film Festival. Finally, You season 4 comes to London this month! Watch the new season this week to spot London locations such as Royal Holloway University, where protagonist Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgely) arrives as a mysterious new professor from across the pond. New episodes also feature scenes filmed in central London around Oxford Circus and Tower Bridge, as well as Film London Premiere Location, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel.
