It's Ladies First this month, with an all new Netflix comedy filming in London. Literally titled Ladies First, Sacha Baron Cohen, Richard E. Grant and Rosamund Pike star in this new production from director Thea Sharrock (The Beautiful Game, Wicked Little Letters, Me Before You). The new film will remake the original French title Je Ne Suis Pas Un Homme Facile and follows a male chauvinist who wakes up with a new, fierce female companion in a parallel world dominated by women. Up next, BBC have announced a new six-part drama that has started filming in London. Babies stars Paapa Essiedu, Siobhán Cullen, Jack Bannon and Charlotte Riley. The series takes a look into the delicate and emotional experience of young couples trying for their first child. The show's characters experience loss, grief and loneliness as their relationships are tested, finding resilience and an even stronger love for each other in the process.
Finally, Apple TV's hit show Silo returns for a third season now filming in London! Starring Rebecca Ferguson, this dystopian series never fails to grip audiences as season 2 continues on Apple TV+ throughout December. Set in a post-apocalyptic society forced into dire living conditions in an underground silo, the series explores the frightening reality of subterranean living. Filming for Silo continues at OMA: X and OMA One Studios in East London having filmed there for previous seasons. With recent episodes revealing the discovery of other inhabited silos nearby, we're excited to see where this story goes!
