We've listed all the exciting new releases that filmed in London so read on to discover the real film locations behind new blockbusters like Argylle and Bob Marley: One Love. Filming in London this month

Award-winning writer/director Lena Dunham is bringing a new romantic comedy series to Netflix. Too Much is filming in London this month with Megan Stalter and Will Sharpe leading the 10-part series. The series will follow Jessica as she moves from New York to London in search of reprieve and a restart after an intense break-up. As she reignites her career in the capital, Jessica meets Felix and an unusual connection between Brit and American quickly forms. Look out for this London-set series soon!

Marching Powder is another new production filming in London this month that'll take us back into the world of football-mad hooliganism from 2004's Football Factory. Danny Dyer returns to star in the new feature, immersing himself in the underground culture of football away days, drugs, crime and violent fist fights. Whilst the new film isn't exactly a sequel to Football Factory, its story will certainly take inspiration from the naoghties cult classic. Marching Powder reunites Dyer with writer-director Nick Love who worked together on the 2004 film.

Also filming in London this month is a new film starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Sean Bean and Orlando Bloom called Deep Cover. The new action comedy for Amazon Prime Video throws together the unlikely pairing of improv actors and organised crime. When the police hire three improv actors to go under cover into London's criminal underworld, how long can they keep their act up? The film will be set in London and sounds like an amusing new feature to look forward to.

Gangs of London season 3 - Hit Sky Studios show returns following an unexpected second season twist that crowned a new king of London's criminal underworld.

Above the Below - Idris Elba co-directs a new survival thriller which spans space and the bottom of the ocean.

Black Doves - Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw star in six-part espionage thriller for Netflix.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - Iconic SEGA franchise with actor-comedian Ben Schwartz voicing the titular character with director Jeff Fowler.

Silo season 2 - Apple TV+ dystopian sci-fi drama starring Rebecca Ferguson and Rashida Jones.

The Diplomat season 2 - Hit political thriller for Netflix starring Kerri Russell as U.S Ambassador to UK, Kate Wyler.

Surface season 2 - Gugu Mbatha-Raw stars in second season of this psychological thriller for Apple TV.

Jingle Bell Heist - Feature film from director Michael Fimognari and bestselling author and screenwriter Abby McDonald, about two amateur thieves who cross paths on Christmas Eve as they each attempt to rob an iconic London department store.

Kicking us off this month is renowned photographer Misan Harriman’s directorial debut, THE AFTER, an Oscar-nominated short film now showing on Netflix! The award-winning film starring David Oyelowo was shot in London the summer of 2022, in Battersea, New Covent Garden Market and on the roof of the National Theatre in the Southbank, a Film London Premiere Location.

THE AFTER is a powerful and affecting story that follows Dayo (Oyelowo), a Londoner who has to reconnect with himself and society after witnessing a devastating random attack in the capital. The film is Netflix UK’s first original short film and is based on a story by Harriman, with a screenplay by new writer John Julius Schwabach. Head to Netflix to catch this moving piece of filmmaking this February.

One Day, an adaptation of David Nicholl's classic novel is coming to Netflix on February 8th! The new show stars Ambika Mod as Emma Morley and Leo Woodall as Dexter Mayhew and tells a story of two fresh face uni graduates whose lives slowly drift apart. Years later, romantic threads from their past revive a special relationship as sparks begin to fly once more. As well as filming in Edinburgh, on-location filming took place in Highbury Fields, Islington and London's West End. Catch London on screen in this exciting new mini-series this month!

Bob Marley: One Love is finally coming to cinemas this February! The biopic on the legendary reggae artist and his band the Wailers filmed in London from December 2022. Filming took place on-location throughout London, tracking Marley's very own footsteps in the city when he lived on Chelsea's Oakley Street in the 1970s. Catch other iconic locations in the film such as Trafalgar Square and Albert Bridge, which is nearby Battersea Park where Marley used to hang out and play football! One Night in Miami (2020) and Barbie (2023) actor Kinglsey Ben-Adir leads the cast as Marley, with Lashana Lynch cast as Rita Marley! The film follows the fraught and tragic life of Marley in Jamaica , his time in London, and his vital activism before his untimely death. See Bob Marley: One Love in cinemas from February 16.

Keep a look out on Prime Video for crime thriller Tales of Babylon. Starring Clive Russell (Game of Thrones) and Billie Gadsdon (Cruella), Tales of Babylon tells the story of four different hitmen who all descend upon the capital in search for redemption. This exciting tale of family, crime and violence was filmed all over London in boroughs such as Camden, Greenwich, Hackney, Hounslow, Tower Hamlets and more. Director and writer Pelayo de Lario wanted to "reflect a different side of London" highlighting for everyday areas and people of the city - "London is an incredibly culture-rich city, full of thousands of stories and just as many ways of telling them, a city full of life and art, inspiration a creative energy." Catch Tales of Babylon on Amazon Prime Video now!

Finally, Argylle is now showing in UK cinemas! The renowned director behind classic crime and action flicks such as Kingsman and Layer Cake is back with an all-new star-studded spy thriller. Mathew Vaughn directs the likes of John Cena, Dua Lipa, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Arianna Debose, Henry Cavill and Bryce Dallas Howard in a witty espionage odyssey that twists fiction and reality. Elly Conway (Dallas Howard) is a best-selling espionage novelist whose literary worlds begin to spill out of the page and into her real life as she gets drawn into a high-stakes mission to expose a global crime-syndicate. With that incredible cast, you'll want to catch this new film in cinemas soon, where you can also spot London film locations such as Hyde Park's Albert Memorial. Scenes were also filmed in Park Royal, Greenford and at Bovingdon's Airfield Studios.
