Black Doves, Netflix

Kicking off our December watchlist is The Agency starring Michael Fassbender. Fassbender is joined by a star-studded cast of Richard Gere, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith and Katherine Waterston in a new show for Paramount+ that'll take you deep into the psychological trauma of the secret agent lifestyle. When CIA agent, codename Martian, is ordered back to London after years undercover, romances reignite and all-new questions need answering. Up next, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will fly into UK cinemas from 21 December and we can't wait to see London on-screen in this action-packed new sequel. The new film in the live-action SEGA franchise filmed on location in the capital: throughout the streets of Canary Wharf and through eye-catching VFX sequences filmed over Tower Bridge and Big Ben. Check out London in action in the film's trailer here. Sonic 3 sees the return of Jim Carrey as Dr Eggman and an all new villain in Shadow the Hedgehog played by Keanu Reeves. Fans have been loving Netflix's Black Doves this month and we're excited to see London play a key role throughout the series! Film locations in the capital for Black Doves include the Southbank, Somerset House, Crystal Palace House, the Royal Lancaster Hotel, Leadenhall Market and locations in Victoria Park, Spitalfields, Covent Garden and Tooting! The list of incredible London locations on this show goes on and the only way to see them all at the heart of the action is by getting on Netflix now to binge the new series! Finally, rounding off our list this month is Strike: The Ink Black Heart Season 6 which releases on BBC iPlayer on 16 December. Private detective Cormoran Strike, played by Tom burke, is a former soldier turned PI, who works London's secret crimes with his partner Robin Ellacott (Holliday Grainger). The pair are back this month in a sixth season adapted from the novels written by J.K. Rowling under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith. The gripping crime drama filmed throughout London in locations such as Highgate Cemetery, the West End, Soho's Denmark Street and much more.
