The Games London team spent an exhilarating week at the world's largest Video Games convention, Gamescom, in Cologne, Germany. Amidst the buzz of over 320,000 attendees, the team engaged in impactful meetings with international municipalities, propelling London's prominence as a video game hub.

Kim Hodgins and Joe Carter joined the UKIE (the UK’s trade body for interactive entertainment) team in helping maintain and run their stand that hosts over 80 UK-based companies.

Joe Carter stated on his experience, ‘Gamescom was a week of exhilaration and excitement as we helped bridge worldwide investors with UK-based studios. As a team, we built long-lasting connections with leading European investors and foreign government officials.’
