Next Wednesday, we're excited to be hosting our second annual Studios and Facilities Showcase for independent producers. In advance of the event, we wanted to highlight a selection of the London Studios that will be presenting on the day.

180 Studios

180 The Strand is the heart of London's creative community, an iconic Brutalist building that has been transformed into a cultural centre. At its core is 180 Studios, a network of production and exhibition spaces that supports emerging talent and provides a platform for creative growth.

180 Studios is home to over 45 companies from every part of the creative realm, ranging across fashion, art, technology and design to music, journalism and food.

Elstree Studios

Elstree Studios has been synonymous with filmmaking since 1926 having produced over 800 feature films and television programmes. Based in Hertfordshire, the studios has been home to many great directors, with past film credits including Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Shining and Labyrinth.

The Studios boasts nine film and TV stages offering over 90,000 sqft of filming space. The renowned George Lucas stages are among the tallest sound stages in Europe. The Platinum Stages provide over 34,000 sq ft of additional stage space. The Studios also offers a spacious three acre backlot which allows for external filming to take place on site. Elstree also offers extensive production offices, workshops, dressing rooms, a 28-seat preview theatre, wardrobe, make up & rehearsal rooms.

Eastbrook Studios

12 sound stages range in size from 16,000 to 32,000 square feet, featuring interconnecting acoustic walls, column free space and drive-in access. As the only major studio located on the London Underground network (District Line), Eastbrook Studios has excellent access, right across London, allowing talent and crew to commute, with ease, to the capital’s newest production centre.

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden boasts some of the largest sound stages in the UK, spread over approximately a quarter of a million square feet with a vast backlot and a filtered and heated water tank. The studio also has over 300,000sqft of workshop space, costume and prop stores, plus over 100,000sqft of office space.
