As the 78th Festival de Cannes draws to a close this week, here's a round up of Film London's activity.
The UK Pavilion was home to meetings and events, and members of the Film London team were once again there to fly the flag for the London film industry. We took part in a sustainability panel at the festival with our European partners and had a series of meetings.

Supporting talent is a huge part of what Film London does and were delighted to welcome some of our Film London alumni to the London Industry Reception.
A big thank you to the supporters of this reception—accountancy firm Alliotts, foreign exchange company Corpay, and Performance Film & MediaInsurance. In addition to supporting this industry reception, they're also year-round partners, which includes support of the upcoming Production Finance Market.

We took the opportunity at the reception to announce that applications for PFM are now open!
We also attended Co-Pro Night 2025 where the Film London Production Finance team liaised with other co-pro markets and producers from across the globe.
We were proud to attend Screen’s Global Production Awards, where our Grid Project was shortlisted in the Sustainability Initiative category. Unfortunately we didn’t bring home the trophy but we were pleased to have the opportunity share our learnings from the pilot that has achieved meaningful emissions reductions in London, and we were so inspired by the other initiatives showcased. Congratulations to all of the winners!
During the festival we met with many of our international friends and partners and look forward to continuing creative collaborations as we head back to London.
