News Story
Join us for the next BFI NETWORK Shorts School! A free online series of talks for emerging directors, writers and producers working towards a short form project and those interested in applying to the next round of the Short Film Fund.
We will also be talking about the Early Development Fund, which is now open. This supports writers in the very early stage of their development process, before having a script, to produce an initial treatment and related materials for a feature film idea (live action, immersive and animation fiction projects).
Guest speakers include;
- Simon Brooke, Director & Writer, Yellow Bucket (Iris Prize-nominated)
- Riffy Ahmed, Director, The Call & Writer (Early Development Funded)
Additional guest speakers to be announced.
There will be an in-person mixer event in London on Wednesday 28th October, for those who register, plus an online relaxed networking session where you can meet and connect with your peers and potential collaborators. The online networking session also includes Q&A roundtables with some of the speakers from the week and our Talent Executives.
If you are looking to be inspired for your next creative project, join BFI NETWORK Shorts School!
