The London International Animation Festival (LIAF) proudly showcases the whole spectrum of animation, showing that animation is for everyone. Founded in 2003, LIAF is the UK’s largest and longest-running animation festival, dedicated to screening the best of the world’s independent films and celebrating the diversity and creativity of this unique art form. Each year LIAF screens hundreds of films, including many UK, European and World Premieres, to thousands of people across London venues, internationally and online, via our 10-day festival, year-round touring programmes and online screenings and events.

The UK’s largest and longest running animation festival, The London International Animation Festival has been showcasing the best in animation to London audiences for over 20 years. A regular awardee of the FAN Film Exhibition Fund, LIAF celebrates the diversity and creativity of this unique art form. Each year LIAF screens over 10 days to over 3,500 people at London venues and online to a growing global audience. Committed to equality, inclusion and diversity, partnership with Film London supports alignment with the Equal Access Network and access to animation for filmmakers and audiences alike.
