The UK Asian Film Festival is the longest-running South Asian film festival in the UK. Organised by the charity Tongues on Fire, it celebrates the very best in films with a link to South Asia. For its 27th edition, playing across the UK, the festival explores the theme of Longing and Belonging in celebration of films that explore one of the most profound human experiences: the search for identity, connection, and purpose. Highlights include Slaves of the Empire and the Closing Gala film The Glassworker.
