Hitting our cinema screens this month is Greed, directed by Michael Winterbottom and starring Steve Coogan, Isla Fisher and Asa Butterfield. A satire on the super-rich, Coogan plays self-made British billionaire Sir Richard McCreadie, who after a damaging public inquiry, decides to throw a high profile party to put his retail empire back on track. Filming locations include Highgate Crematorium, Islington Town Hall and Premiere Location Ministry of Sound.

ITV’s detective drama Endeavour returns for a seventh series, with Inspector Morse and Inspector Thursday continuing to solve mysteries for the Oxford City Police. Now set in the Seventies, filming took place in Brent, Wandsworth, Ealing and Hounslow.

Also on TV is Sky One’s comedy Intelligence starring David Schwimmer and Nick Mohammed. Set in the UK’s Government Communications Headquarters, arrogant National Security Agency agent Jerry (David Schwimmer) enlists the help of incompetent computer analyst Joseph (Nick Mohammed) in a power move that threatens the team’s ability to combat cyber terrorism. The series filmed both at Twickenham Studios and on location at Gatwick Airport, The Tap Tavern in Richmond and The Foresters Pub in Ealing.

Starting production this month is the highly anticipated feature The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves. With Robert Pattinson behind the mask of the eponymous superhero, Colin Farrell, Zoë Kravitz and Paul Dano also star.

From the Batman, to the butler. Series two of Pennyworth also starts production. The series follows the adventures of former soldier Alfred Pennyworth before he became the Wayne family’s loyal butler.

Finding Alice, a contemporary drama for ITV, will start filming. After the sudden death of her late husband, Alice embarks on a journey of grief, love and truth as she is forced to confront a web of secrets, debt and crime left by her husband.
