Job Description
Film London is seeking to fill four vacant positions on our board of directors, chaired by Daniel Battsek, due to the departure of experienced members.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a diverse and skilled board, we are specifically seeking individuals with expertise in the creative screen industries across the following areas:
- Policy/Public Sector: We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of the public sector and governmental processes and policy.
- Legal: Ideal candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of legal frameworks within the creative industries.
- Finance/Investment: We are seeking candidates with a strong financial acumen and a demonstrated ability to guide strategic financial decisions and ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Fundraising/Philanthropic Giving: We are looking for candidates with a strong background in fundraising and philanthropic giving for cultural charities and the arts.
- Skills/Diversity and Inclusion: We are looking for candidates with a background in promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives, as well as expertise in talent development.
Funded by the British Film Institute, the Mayor of London, Arts Council England and the Department of Business and Trade (DBT), Film London supports the production of the full range of content shot in London, offers an exciting and inspiring programme of short film productions, talent development above and below the line, as well as supporting Artists’ Moving Image work, audience development and delivering annually a range of key markets in London.
