The KinoVan is a mobile cinema showing films from across London, inspired by travelling cinema vans of the 1920s.
Each screening gives a unique insight into your borough's past, with a mix of old home movies and other gems from the archive.
We also reveal the hidden stories behind the films, including memories from the original filmmakers or their families.

Over the past year, the KinoVan appeared at various events all over London, including Croydon Airport Open Day, the Totally Thames festival, Wimbledon Guild Village Fair and Alexandra Palace Summer Festival. Further KinoVan events for 2017 will be announced in due course.

“Like a Tardis on wheels, we are giving people the chance to time travel: to stand in front of the screen and see the past hundred years reel before their eyes.”
