Applications now open for the London Games Festival Fringe 2017
Date posted: 23.01.2017
Applications are open for the London Games Festival Fringe, running as part of the London Games Festival this year (30 March - 09 April).
The Festival Fringe is dedicated to independently run events of all sizes, and last years’ programme saw everything from product launches and tournaments to theatre shows and workshops. Events in new or unique spaces, or in parts of the city that otherwise don’t usually see much event activity, are especially welcome.
Some of the exciting events confirmed already for the London Games Festival Fringe 2017 include Kiasco’s eSCon Europe 2017: The eSports Conference, dedicated to defining and driving the eSports and competitive gaming industry, and VideoBrains, intelligent and entertaining talks looking at game play from new angles. This is in addition to the Ukie Student Conference: South, which will see industry insiders from all areas of the sector deliver a series of talks and workshops.
The London Games Festival and the Fringe is organised by Games London, a partnership between the capital’s screen industries agency Film London and games trade body Ukie, supported by the Mayor of London’s London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP).
